To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

This book was the bomb! I knew the title had spice but wait till you read it. It is truly one-of-a-kind. Read this one when I was in college, just borrowed it from the library. I was prepared to be bored because the cover (cheap yellow and kinda torn up)didn't do the book justice, but I was blown away! It talks about injustice and prejudice between the white and the colored people and how a child (Scout), who is simply ahead of her time, can look beyond color. Thus, making her more mature than the old folks. The story is priceless and entertaining and can teach us all a lesson. The point being, this life will be so much better if we all see things like children do. I rate this one * * * * *

Bergdorf Blondes by Plum Sykes

This book, I've read recently, like last year. This is soo fun I almost couldn't believe it! Plum Sykes has got unbelievable insights on the high life of the rich and the famous (she used fictional characters, of course, but nonetheless based on the life of the likes of the Hiltons, Richies and the Olsen Twins). Anywayz, if your a girl, you will like this one. It talks about anorexia, parties, make up, designer clothes and everything girl. I couldn't put this one down because it's totally hilarious and insightful, and totally TOTALLY ridiculous! I was bawled over so I give this * * * *

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

I've read Pride and Prejudice when I was fresh out of college and, no kidding, this book blew my mind! I was hooked from the first line. It was truly deeply mind-blowing and it made me experience all sorts of emotions within just minutes of intervals. Before this, I couldn't count three books that toyed with my emotions as much. With this book, Austen couldn't surpass herself if she tried. I rate this one * * * * * and that's the highest I give ever. The movie's not bad also. Starring Kiera Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen (both kicked ass!) I've watched it twice and I plan to watch again and again and ...
